The Bipolar Bum

Backpacking and Bipolar II. Taking Manic Depression on tour.

1000 Followers – Hot on my heels

Where do they keep coming from?!

“Where do they keep coming from?!”

I just want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone following, especially the 500 new folks.  In the last ten days you’ve doubled my readership.  It is easy to be cynical about these things and I have to admit to occasionally thinking “Pfft. You’re not REALLY helping anyone”.  I don’t earn much money and every time one of you comments and let’s me know I’m doing something worthwhile here, that I’ve helped you in any small way – I feel absolutely great and encouraged to continue this project.  Your contributions whether you’re depressed, manic, bipolar or not are all equally valuable to me.  The interactions we have are the best incentive for writing here and I hope to continue learning from your contributions for a long time to come.

All the best,

H&J

I certainly do. There is one particularly horrendous mistake that I consistently make on here and a friend LOVES to pick me up on it! 😛

Thanks very much! Going to try and keep the convention going for each ‘Follower milestone’. I’ve got no idea what we’ll look like if I ever reach obscene numbers like 10k. Coming up with that drawing would be an amazing problem to have though 🙂

I surely will! I’m moving to an area soon where the internet is diabolically bad, but if I have to drive an hour and schedule my posts for the entire week I’m going to keep going with this.

      Thanks for the support!

While you may not feel you’re helping anyone, I beg to differ. Sometimes, just knowing that there are others struggling with mental illness is strangely comforting. It’s nice to know we’re not alone.

    Congrats and keep on writing!

Just interact with LOADS of bloggers and they reciprocate. I reply to every comment and comment on other peoples’ blogs when I get a chance.
